The Cermak Family Aquatic Center, often known as the Cermak Aquatic Center or the Cermak Pool, is a public swimming pool in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood at Aquatic Park, 7600 Ogden Ave, Lyons, IL 60534. The pool is named after Anton Cermak, the killed former mayor of Chicago in 1933.
The Cermak Aquatic Center has a main pool, a diving well, a water slide, and a children’s wading pool among its attractions. During the summer months, from late June to early September, the Cermak Aquatic Center is open to the public. The pool is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with extended hours on some days. Children under the age of two are admitted free, while children and adults over the age of two must pay a nominal price to enter. Season passes are also available for individuals who intend to visit the pool on a regular basis.
